Printing Specifications
-
Lee Marmon personally produces and signs all black and white prints for quality and long-term durability on Ilford Double-Weight Premium Deluxe Portfolio photographic paper, using time-tested professional darkroom techniques at his studio in Laguna, New Mexico.
-
Because of the complex technical
nature of high-grade color print development, "Engine Rock" is the only print
that Mr. Marmon does not produce personally at his studios. However, Mr. Marmon
still personally signs all prints prior to framing and shipment.
-
Only Nielsen and Bainbridge archival framing products, the recognized
brand of choice for high-quality document and image preservation, are used.
Nielsen and Bainbridge
products are endorsed by the former preservation director at the U.S.
Library of Congress.
-
Prints are carefully
dry-mounted on acid free foam, double matted, and placed under high quality, Tru
Vue Conservation Series® glass. Tru Vue glass blocks 97% of UV rays that cause
fade damage.
-
All prints are mounted using Bainbridge Alphamat Artcare brand mat
boards. These mats are cellulose-based, acid free, and are designed to actively
inhibit yellowing and fading.
-
All prints will come in their own Nielsen brand frames, a top name
in high quality aluminum frames. The frame itself is matte black in color, with
an anodized finish for durability, and beautifully enhances the prints.

-
All 11” x 14” and 16” x 20 ” framed prints include an
embedded, attractive silver-colored metal plaque, professionally engraved
with the title of the photo, and year the image was photographed and keepsake copy of Lee Marmon’s written story of each image. Each copy comes in
its own protective envelope, professionally applied to the back of each frame.
-
Complimentary VHS [or DVD] copy of Lee Marmon's personally narrated
video, "The Lee Marmon Gallery" for buyers who purchase the FRAMED
11x14s and 16x20s.
